Why is avocado oil so healthy?
Avocado oil is packed with monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats -- also known as “the good fats.” These fats are known for reducing blood pressure, improving cholesterol, and assisting in nutrient absorption.
Lutein and beta-carotene are two other key nutrient players in avocado oil. These antioxidants provide their own respective health benefits. While lutein specializes in promoting eye health, beta-carotene works to promote cognitive function and protect us against free-radicals that can harm our cells.
How long does extra virgin avocado oil last?
Each of our bottles will be stamped with a “best by” date. Depending on the storage conditions of extra virgin avocado oil, it can last up to 18 months. For optimal freshness, we recommend using the oil within 6 months of opening.
What is the best way to store my avocado oil?
Light, temperature, moisture, and oxygen are all factors that can affect the freshness of avocado oil. To keep it simple, we recommend storing your oil in a cool and dark cabinet, tightly sealed, and away from steam or condensation.
What is the smoke point of avocado oil?
The smoke point varies depending on the grade of avocado oil. Our extra virgin avocado oil has a smoke point of 400°F and works best for light sauteing or as a finishing oil. Our refined avocado oil is a kitchen powerhouse. With a smoke point of 500°F, this oil can be used for frying, grilling, baking, and more.
What if my avocado oil looks cloudy?
Avocado oil can have natural avocado sediment and waxes, making the oil appear cloudy when exposed to cooler temperatures. This cloudiness does not affect the flavor or quality of the oil.
What is the difference between extra virgin and refined avocado oil?
To make a long story short, extra virgin avocado oil is the purest form of avocado oil which is why it retains its emerald green color and avocado flavor.
Refined avocado oil is put through an additional purification process which removes the color and flavor, resulting in a neutral and high heat cooking oil.
How can I use avocado oil for my skin and hair-care?
Avocado oil can do wonders for your skin and hair! Check out our tips for an avocado oil spa day at home:
- For nighttime moisturization: Apply a pea sized amount of avocado oil (any type) to your face after cleansing. Rinse with a mild cleanser in the morning.
- All natural makeup remover: Mix 2 tsp avocado oil with ½ tsp castor oil and apply using a cotton pad or fingers to remove makeup. This is a safe and gentle alternative to harsh alcohol-based makeup removers that can dry out skin.
- To enhance curls and waves: Apply 1-2 drops of avocado oil to the palm of your hand and rub your hands together for even distribution. Lightly run your hands through the ends of your hair. Can be applied when damp or dry.
- As a deep moisturizing hair mask: Apply oil liberally to scalp and massage. Let sit for as long as you wish before shampooing. For best results, let the oil penetrate your hair strands overnight and shampoo the following morning.

We make every effort to ship your package as quickly as possible! Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing. Orders received after 3pm will be processed the following business day. Please note that orders placed on holidays and weekends will be processed the following business day. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your order has shipped
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping rates are determined by USPS, UPS, and DHL Express rates and depend on various factors such as your order’s weight, the dimensions of your order, and your location.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer refunds for unopened bottles for items returned within 15 days of purchasing. Please see our refund policy for more information.
What happens if my order gets lost in transit?
Once your order departs our warehouse, the shipping carrier holds the shipping liability. If you believe that your order was lost in transit, please reach out to the carrier that shipped your product (found in your shipping notification).
